Printed planks on one continuous sheet — the timber look without real joints.
Sheet vinyl is the most seamless way to do vinyl flooring: wide rolls cut to the shape of the room and fully bonded down. We supply and fit it across Riyadh for shops, schools, clinics and homes, after a free visit to measure and pick the width that keeps seams to a minimum.

From across a showroom most rolls look alike. The real differences are in the backing, the wear layer and how the sheet is built — and they decide whether a roll belongs in a bedroom or can survive a school corridor for years.
A foam layer under the surface makes the floor softer, warmer and quieter underfoot. Great for bedrooms, kids’ rooms and store rooms, but it dents under sharp legs and concentrated loads, so it marks in shops and offices with castor chairs.
No foam: the layers are pressed into one dense sheet, often sold as commercial grade. It takes trolleys, wheelchairs and constant traffic, and is always fully glued. A homogeneous version carries the colour through its full thickness, so wear shows slowly — common in healthcare.
Rolls typically come 2 or 4 metres wide, with some ranges at 3 metres. We choose the width that covers your room with the fewest joins, and keep any necessary seam out of doorways and walking lines, running with the light so it disappears. With wood or geometric prints we allow for the pattern repeat so both sides line up, which adds a little length.
In homes a seam is usually closed with a cold-weld liquid that fuses the two edges. In clinics and commercial kitchens the seam is grooved and a PVC rod is melted in with a hot-air gun, turning the floor into one surface that water and dirt can’t get into.
Roll vinyl is no longer just hospital grey; today’s prints cover most tastes and uses.

Schools and nurseries need more than the right roll — see school and nursery flooring.
In clinics, commercial kitchens and laundries, the corner where floor meets wall is where dust and water collect. The fix is to run the sheet itself a short way up the wall over a curved fillet that fills the corner, finished with a capping strip.
Floor and skirting become one piece with no crack, so a mop glides through the corner without leaving dirt behind. It needs straight walls and takes longer than standard skirting, so we decide room by room at the inspection.

Enter length and width and pick a roll width for an approximate run length. Choose higher waste for prints that need matching.
Sheet mirrors what’s beneath; unfilled tile joints slowly show as dips.
Trapped moisture breaks down the adhesive and causes bubbles and stains.
Sheets need to relax flat in the room before final cutting, or edges shrink back.
The busiest spot in the room — that seam opens first, so we plan around it.
Metal feet slice the wear layer; lift, or use wide cups.
They dull the surface and weaken cold welds; neutral cleaner is enough.
Some foam-backed residential rolls allow loose laying or perimeter taping in small rooms, depending on the manufacturer’s instructions. In shops, corridors and anywhere with trolleys, full adhesion is essential, otherwise the sheet ripples or creeps at doorways over time. We confirm the right method once we see the room.
If the room is narrower than the roll, usually none. Wider rooms get one seam per extra width. At the inspection we compare the available widths and laying directions to find the fewest seams and least waste, then put them where foot traffic is lightest.
Yes, if you choose a compact commercial roll with a thick wear layer, fully glued to a flat base. Foam-backed residential rolls aren’t suitable because wheels dent them. At the shop entrance we also suggest a recessed mat to trap sand before it reaches the vinyl.
It can if the tiles are firmly bonded, but sheet vinyl is thin and shows grout lines, so the joints are filled or the floor gets a thin smoothing coat first. That step is part of the quote, and we assess it after seeing the tiles and joint depth.
The damaged area is cut out as a rectangle, a matching patch is cut from an offcut of the same roll with the pattern aligned, then it is glued and the edges welded. Keep an offcut after installation — new batches can differ slightly in shade.
Often, yes: wide rolls cover ground quickly with few pieces, and waste is low in regular rooms. The final cost still depends on levelling, roll grade, welding and coving. Our guide to vinyl flooring prices in Riyadh explains the factors.
The surface doesn’t absorb water; seams and edges are the weak points. With welded seams and the sheet turned up the wall, a laundry is well protected from washing-machine leaks. For every wet-area option, see waterproof flooring. And check the machine hoses now and then.
