Home prayer room
A calm prayer room for family or guests, with row-patterned carpet — our mosque carpet know-how on a smaller scale.
We visit clients in Hittin to measure majlis rooms, lounges and staircases and show samples in your own light. We recommend parquet, rugs and carpet worthy of the house, then supply and fit with an eye for detail.

Hittin is a district of spacious villas with formal majlis rooms (reception rooms for guests), open lounges and wide staircases. A premium floor is not the priciest board in the catalogue; it is the right call on direction, edges and transitions. We check these on every visit here.
We line the herringbone or chevron axis up with the longest sightline from the entrance, or the centre of the majlis seating. Off-axis, even beautiful timber feels lopsided.
In big rooms, a frame of straight boards around the herringbone field looks finished and quietly hides the slightly out-of-square walls most buildings have.
Where marble stays in the entrance or on the stairs, we plan the parquet thickness and a matching transition profile so the surfaces meet without a lip.
High ceilings need taller skirting, matched to the doors or the wall. Thin skirting in a tall lounge looks like an afterthought.
Herringbone gives a lounge movement and depth without competing with the furniture. We bring light, warm and dark tones, with broader boards for halls and narrower ones for mid-sized rooms.

For a formal majlis we prefer one large bordered rug with a medallion over several small pieces, sized to the seating and matched to curtains and cushions, then bound at the edges.

In a big villa the staircase is the home’s inner showpiece. We measure each tread separately, since they rarely match, and fix the carpet firmly at the nosing — as full cover, or as a bordered runner that leaves the marble showing either side.

Back kitchens, annexes and staff quarters need a floor that shrugs off water and traffic. Wood-look SPC planks keep the look consistent with the rest of the house; see more under vinyl flooring.

Much of our Hittin work is not new-build: a family has lived in the villa for years and wants to replace tired carpet or turn a lounge into parquet. We go room by room, so most of the house stays usable.
Marble and stairs are protected, old carpet and adhesive lifted, and the subfloor checked before anything new goes down. The majlis is booked around family occasions.

Working with an interior designer or contractor? We align specs, samples and timing with them, as in our project solutions.
It does if the majlis uses sofas or mixed seating with a rug in the middle. If guests sit on floor cushions most of the time, full carpet or a wall-to-wall rug is warmer and kinder. We talk through how you use the room before recommending either.
Usually, yes. We lift the old carpet carefully, clean off adhesive and fixings, then fit full cover or a runner that leaves marble visible on both sides, measuring each tread separately.
Often, with a floating floor, if the marble is sound and level — but door heights, thresholds and transitions to other rooms must be checked. Glued herringbone needs a closer look at the surface. We assess it during the visit and tell you plainly what will work.
We measure the clear distance between facing seats and leave an even margin all round, so the rug sits dead centre. Irregular rooms get a custom-cut rug; our custom-size rugs page explains the process.
Yes. We work from the drawings and colour board, provide samples for approval, and coordinate fitting dates around joinery and lighting. Any technical concern about a material is raised before work starts, not after.
WhatsApp your location and room photos, or call any day from 7 AM to 10 PM. We bring samples, measure, check the subfloor and send a written quote.
