Clear the rooms
Empty furniture and rugs where you can, or agree in advance which heavy pieces we move between rooms.
We install vinyl in all its forms, SPC and LVT planks and sheet rolls, in apartments, villas, offices and shops. We check the subfloor first and decide whether floating click-lock or glue-down suits it, then fit skirting and thresholds and hand over clean. Free inspection in Riyadh and a quote by phone or WhatsApp.

Empty furniture and rugs where you can, or agree in advance which heavy pieces we move between rooms.
Boxes stay closed in the room for the period the manufacturer sets, so planks settle to the temperature of the space.
Thin vinyl shows any hard grain or plaster crumb underneath, so we sweep and scrape before starting.
We need a working socket and good lighting; cutting at doors and corners needs clear sight.
Decide in advance which fitted units and doors stay; floating vinyl goes around them, never under them.
In towers and compounds, tell us lift bookings and access hours so deliveries are coordinated.
We choose by product type, floor flatness and how the space is used, not by what is quickest.
| How it works | Where it suits | |
|---|---|---|
| SPC planks, click-lock (floating) | Planks lock together without glue and rest on the floor with an expansion gap at the walls | Apartments, villas and level floors; often quicker than gluing |
| LVT planks, glued | Each plank is bonded to the floor with a suitable adhesive | Shops, offices and busy corridors where extra stability matters |
| Sheet vinyl (roll) | The roll is laid and bonded or fixed depending on its type, with careful cutting or welding at joints | Large areas, clinics and schools; details on our vinyl roll flooring Riyadh page |
Backing thickness and specifications vary between products, so we follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the product you choose.
Vinyl is thinner than parquet, so it shows subfloor faults more.
Most vinyl problems we are called to look at began with the floor, not the plank. So part of the inspection is spent deciding what the floor needs before we quote.
Grout lines in old ceramic tiles can telegraph through thin vinyl, especially when it is glued. We fill them with a suitable levelling compound and sand them smooth. With thicker planks that have an attached underlay the effect is smaller, though it does not always disappear.
We run a long straightedge across the floor to find dips and humps. Many product instructions allow only a few millimetres of difference over roughly two metres; the reference is the product’s own guidance, and anything beyond it is treated before laying.
In newly built villas the screed may hold moisture for a while. We delay fitting or recommend a suitable barrier if there are signs of dampness, because trapping water under a waterproof floor is a problem in itself.
Carpet is lifted with its leftover adhesive and gripper strips, and old parquet is usually removed. Firm sound tiles normally stay.

Boxes stay in the room itself for the time the manufacturer sets, so planks come close to the temperature of the air-conditioned space.

We measure the room and work out the width of the last row before starting, so it never ends as a thin strip at the door, and we stagger joints between rows.

After skirting and thresholds we remove offcuts, wipe the floor and check it plank by plank before handover.
Measure flatness and moisture, look at grout lines and cracks, and decide what levelling is needed.
Scrape high spots, fill grout lines, remove dust, and lift carpet or an old floor where present.
Lay the underlay layer if required, then set the first row on a straight line with an expansion gap at the walls.
Lock planks at the correct angle or glue them, staggering joints row to row and cutting carefully at doors.
Fix skirting to the wall, not to the floor, add threshold profiles, then inspect and hand over clean.
Send room sizes and photos of the current floor and doors on WhatsApp, and we will arrange a visit in Riyadh to measure and pick the best method.
Vinyl is popular in kitchens and bathrooms because surface water does not harm it the way it harms timber, but a water-resistant plank does not mean the whole floor tolerates standing water beneath it.
So we pay attention to edges at walls, thresholds and pipes, and use a suitable sealant where the product recommends it. We do not lay floating planks under fixed cabinets. In smaller bathrooms we prefer continuous laying with as few joints as possible. For choosing the product, see waterproof flooring Riyadh.

An average room over a ready floor is often done in a working day. Levelling, removing the old floor and many corridors add time.
Lift furniture rather than dragging it, put felt pads under legs and avoid pouring a lot of water on the joints in the first week.
A mild cleaner and soft mop is usually enough; avoid harsh tools and strong solvents, and follow the product’s guidance.
We leave you spare planks so a damaged one can be replaced later in the same colour and batch.
Enter each room separately, then send the result on WhatsApp with photos of the current floor and doors.
In most cases yes, provided the tiles are firm and level. Deep grout lines and raised tiles are treated first with levelling compound, because subfloor faults can show on the vinyl surface, particularly with thinner types.
Click-lock SPC is laid floating without glue and needs an expansion gap at the walls, and it is often quicker. Glued LVT is bonded straight to the floor and suits shops and busy corridors, but needs a very level floor and more careful preparation.
It depends on the area and the condition of the floor. An average room is often a day, and a whole apartment can take from a day to several days with levelling and old floors to remove. We give a better estimate after the inspection.
For floating installation, yes. The planks expand and contract slightly with temperature, so we leave a small gap according to the product instructions and cover it with skirting. Filling it with sealant or fixing the skirting to the floor can cause buckling later.
In most cases yes, since surface water does not harm it, as long as edges and pipes are handled properly and water is not left standing under it. See our waterproof flooring page for details.
Yes, but felt pads under the legs and spreading the load are recommended, and heavy pieces should be lifted, not dragged. With floating floors we do not fix cabinets on top of the planks.
Wipe with a mild cleaner and a soft mop, remove grit regularly because it scratches the surface over time, and avoid solvents and sharp tools. We explain this at handover.
Send room sizes, the current floor type and photos of doors, the kitchen and bathrooms, and whether you want new skirting. That is enough for an initial quote that we confirm at the inspection; you can also read about what affects vinyl prices before comparing.
Send room sizes and photos of the floor and doors on WhatsApp, and we will arrange the inspection and a fitting date in Riyadh.
